Get started with your own Public Portal

Welcome to our second newsletter. We received a lot of nice feedback on our first newsletter, which is really great and motivates us to keep sending these monthly updates. This time we want to share a blog post and two major product updates with you.

The Public Portals are live!
We are proud to announce that we have just released the Public Portals. If you are looking for a better way to share public files (logo’s, brochures, etc.) then the Portals can be a great addition for you. You might already be sharing some public files on your website or through direct Share Links from Swivle. With our new Portals you can really streamline this process by:
- Creating your own subdomain (like and styling your portal
- Determining the content you want to make public
- Linking to the portal on your website and in your (email) communication
Your audience will now always have access to your latest and greatest assets in an intuitive interface (identical to the Content Consumer interface), where they can easily filter, search and browse through your public assets.
Want to create multiple Portals? No problem. Each Portal can have a unique subdomain, unique content and unique branding. For now the Portals are publicly available, but if you are interested in a password protected version please let us know.
Check out our demo Portal here!

Revamping of the Management Console
A few weeks ago we released the completely revamped version of the Management Console; our interface where the administrators can easily configure Swivle. In the new version we improved and simplified the way administrators can configure access rules and metadata for their users.

What we have been writing about..
This month we published a guest post from a designer, who shared his journey and the things he learned about switching from file servers to cloud file storage services like Dropbox. And how he  finally ended up with a much more functional cloud DAM solution in place.
